Clerc's Children maintains a supportive network of health care providers for families with deaf & HH infants/toddlers upon detection through Universal Newborn Hearing Screening (UNHS). Clerc's Children makes available to hospitals our UNHS New Parents Kit, The First Five Months, which provides parents with immediate online parent to parent support, guide to early interactions and early visual communication, and resources while waiting for diagnostic hearing test results. Research shows that infants, hearing or deaf, will universally benefit from early visual communication.

Clerc's Children connects Researchers with Speech Therapists, Audiologists, and ASL Specialists who support a dual language approach, and provides families of DHH infants and toddlers with a network of professionals to help meet their child's language development needs. Clerc's Children's methodology is to provide equal access to language in all forms -spoken, signed and written - to give the child all the tools to succeed.
