Clerc's Children creates a safe community where parents are supported in their decision to provide a linguistically inclusive home environment for their child by connecting them with other parents, professionals, researchers and community members who are "dual language friendly" and support language development and communication access.

In response to the newborn hearing screening identification, Clerc's Children developed a birth to 6 month curriculum for early interaction and early communication access so parents can take advantage of these critical early months of language development. Because parents are focused on all the decisions necessary in establishing an inclusive language plan which includes auditory treatment, speech training and language development, the infant often misses out on valuable early language exposure that builds a strong foundation for them to become contributing citizens.
